Ferrymead Heritage Park - open

Orana Wildlife Park -
New Zealand’s largest wildlife and conservation centre and only open range zoo. Visitors can walk through the Park and/or ride on the complimentary Safari Shuttle, driven by a wildlife expert who provides a commentary. Alternatively, visitors may wish to participate in daily, guided, walkabout tours.

There are over 400 animals including Meerkats, Porcupines & Otters, NZ Native Birds, Spider Monkeys, Black & White Lemurs, Lions, Giraffes, White Rhinoceros, Cheetah and African Wild Dogs.
