Breast Reduction Surgery - Mastopexy

There are millions of women suffering because their breasts are too large to be comfortable. One lady with 44 DDD breasts had them weighed at nine pounds each.

That's quite a lot of extra weight to carry around all the time and large breasted woman typically suffer from upper back, neck and shoulder pain not to mention the difficulty in buying clothes.

The other drawback is participation in life activities like sport. Simply put, large breasts just get in the way and even the best bra cannot contain the bounce when running. The consequence of this is that many women with a large bust avoid the physical activity needed to maintain their optimal health and fitness.

Big breasted woman also suffer unwanted attention and comments from men and even other women so much so that all the accumulated discomfort has them seeking out breast reduction surgery. While breast reduction surgery it is fairly quick and effective, it is also very painful and leaves permanent scar damage, but unfortunately surgery is really the only option for woman at present.

Anyone who is thinking about having a reduction surgery must ensure they examine their doctor's credentials and view their work, also remember that after abreast operation, if you have a baby, your breast may not work!!! One lady reported that after her breast reduction in 2005 where the doctor removed 4.5 lbs tissue from each breast and he did a horrible job. Then she had her 3rd baby and while the breast filled up with milk, her my nipples did not work to feed the child.

Anaesthesia

All breast surgeries are done with the patient under a full anaesthetic which has other risks although it is generally safe. In a 1954 review of 599,548 surgical procedures at 10 hospitals in the United States between 1948-1952, 384 deaths were attributed to anaesthesia, for an overall mortality rate of 0.64%. So the risk is low, but it is still a small risk that if you go for any surgery, you may never wake up. Wiki. Most who undertake this sugery say it was worth the risk.

Alternatives

At present there are few, one of the most helpful regimes is to loose weight, diet and exercise, however this is to difficult for many reasons but it is generally found that overall weight-loss also means weight comes off the breasts as well.

Massage also supports breast reduction and the method is to gently massage the breasts for a few minutes and then firmly but gently squeeze evenly outwards from the nipples in all directions. But for this to be effective, it must be dome daily over several months. Dieting is often so difficult and its often easier when family and friends are supportive, and it often helps to use some dietary support products.

Post surgery problems

  • Pain and discomfort after surgery
  • Permanent scaring and disfigurement
  • Possible infections which are common
  • Doctor, anaesthetist or other human errors resulting in patient death may also occur.

In this video, some of the women were born this way and some have done this to themselves, but either way, the load they bear is huge and surgery an important consideration where lifestyle and attitudes do not support the body.

Extra large breasts can be a blessing or a curse and how you create your lifestyle as a matter of choice. But if carrying that excess weight is too much of a challenge than surgery is the best viable option.

A Non Surgical Alternative

Body sculpting massage, weight loss and physical exercise can all help when combined as a treatment package.
