Bio-oil is a product promoted as “the product for scarring and skin care”, but when we look at the ingredients its hard to see why anyone would ever want to put it on their body!

What’s in it?

Like Johnson’s Baby Oil, the Bio-Oil base is mineral oil, a bi-product of petroleum and not designed for use on our skin as mineral oil acts as a layer that’s difficult to absorb, it clogs the pores which slows the skins’ ability to eliminate toxins.
