Celebrating the Mother of Mothers and obtaining her blessing

Within Hinduism, Chamunda/ Durga is the fierce aspect of Devi, the Supreme Mother and Goddess. Characteristically she is portrayed as a doll-like figure riding a lion or tiger, or at times other animals depending on her purpose. But there is no doubt that when she is astride a lion or tiger, her intent is more serious.

For a moment, put aside the iconography and the plethora of and the basis of Devi being the earth mother, representing the earth and everything she gives us. Remember too that we come into this life through our mothers and we owe her a debt of gratitude. That debt also extends into the earth from

Dharma

The art and science of living while supporting life

Published on: 23 Jun 2016 updated June 8 2018

Dharma is described as a noun meaning to live by the eternal law of the cosmos that is inherent in the very nature of things. For many people, this may be too much of a stretch of the imagination, but it can be redefined as living in accord or in harmony with nature.

The idea of Dharma arises from Yoga and Hinduism because the ancient yogis were able to identify and relate with nature. Unfortunately this is beyond any people’s ability today because we live in such a consumer driven world where personal identity and happiness is dependent on external phenomena.

But

Saving India – Saving the world

In researching not only Indian history but the history of the world it seems we have checked enough boxes and this time that some thought was given to compiling all this information with references in a logical and meaningful manner then making approaches to the various authorities around the world to begin the correcting of school textbooks.

The narrative may likely proceed to point out the correlation between the very ancient occupation of India and the similarities with Africa of 1.3 million years ago, the before and after Mount Tober incident and the evidence of simple agriculture originating in India followed by the spread of civilisation, knowledge and technology from India around the globe.

The Price of Progress

Avoidance, destruction and blame

We have come to think of progress as having more comforts, more technology and greater security for our long-term survival. This is what our ancestors worked for and we have led to believe that by following the directions of industrial leaders that our wealth and security are steadily improving. You should be stand back and look critically at this idea there are many flaws.

Progress in the modern sense is all about capitalism and market forces driving inventiveness and productivity. Thanks to our modern communications we can now perceive on a global scale the environmental destruction and increasing scarcity of resources with which to make things or even produce our food. The small lead to dictate

What is Dharma?

A mystery to those not knowing the essence of life

To get the best from life, you must love life and treat it with love.Via Vogue and lemonade

Dharma is living in accord with life while sustaining what is known and fruitful for all life.

In other words, to know Dharma in its fullness you must know life in its fullness and that is something few people achieve in their lifetimes. Therefore to know Dharma as a layperson without access to the accumulated knowledge of Vedanta requires a relaxation of beliefs and an openness to explore.

To put it simply, Dharma is a way of being in the world that

Confucius did not say!

Humour

Confucian jokes with puns and risqué double-meanings have been fictitiously attributed to Confucius, the famous Chinese philosopher who lived around 500 BC. His name is used to lend credence to a branch of philosophy as the sayings of a wise man but people like to joke around and these are a few that play on words…

Man who wants pretty nurse, must be patient.

Passionate kiss, like spider web, leads to undoing of fly.

Lady who goes camping must beware of evil intent.

Squirrel who runs up woman’s leg will not find nuts.

Man who leaps off cliff jumps to conclusion.

Man who runs in front of car gets tired, man who runs behind car gets exhaustedd.

Man who

Vaccine Safety Trials

Direct comparison KIGGS study

“I’ve been saying for sometime now that there are no long term double blind placebo based studies on vaccine safety. I’ve been saying that no studies have compared the long term health of vaccinated children to the long term health of unvaccinated children.

The one thing pro-vaccine and anti-vaccine people agree on, is that this type of study would settle the debate once and for all and it’s really frustrating that the CDC refuse to conduct such a study.

Well I was wrong.

There is an ongoing study in Germany that compares the long term health of 17,641 vaccinated children with that of 15,320 unvaccinated children.

The study shows that vaccinated children are:

Twice as likely
