Planning for a healthy future

We start our lives in ignorance, and lets face it, many parents are ignorant of what constitutes a good lifestyle, diet and nutrition. That means that as we grow up with a less than ideal diet and lifestyle, we are laying foundations for ill-health and a short life.

As we live our lives in ignorance, it takes some time before some sickness intrudes and reminds us of our mortality. Then we look for a fix, but by then most fixes are best temporary and the only way to make a change permanent is to wake up and make those essential diet and lifestyle changes.

While there are countless diet and weight loss programs,

DNA

DNA or Deoxyribonucleic acid

DNA symbol circa 5000 BC which became a medical symbol

DNA is often thought of as the blueprint of our body inherited from our parents and then passed in through our genes to our children. What is little known however is that there has been a knowledge of DNA for thousands of years across India and Persia, and this was used to prevent inbreeding within the population. This is known as ‘gotra‘ and families were able to trace their lineage back for many thousands of years.

The way it was practised could also be described as eugenics because it kept the population healthy. In another aspect, it is referred to as karma or

Water Holds Memory

Ancient knowledge confirmed by modern science

Copper, the ideal water storage. Note it must be well cleaned regularly

Most of us tend to think as water as a convenience and something to nourish our bodies. In fact we can’t live more than about three days without water which makes it a necessity for life.

Within ancient yogic and Hindu understanding, water was highly respected and even venerated because there was the knowledge that our bodies were approximately 70% water. So while water had all its practical applications, the perception of water was that as an entity it has memory.

Memory of water is subtle and yet powerful, if you mistreat the water it will not nurture and support

Lies; The New Truth

An inversion of values

By lmsunshine94 @ Tumblr

In as much as very few people know the absolute truth of existence, humanity has always had a sense of what is true, what is untrue and the need for truth in a relative way. Our entire legal framework is established on the precept that there is some truth as to what happened in a particular situation and that truth must be revealed to establish innocence or guilt.

For the ordinary people, truth was that we must eat to live, we must reproduce to sustain the population and we must perform certain activities and behave in certain ways to maintain social harmony. Beyond this, any other idea such as the

A History of Lomi Lomi

An ancient art for modern times

The Lomi Lomi style of holistic bodywork is often referred to as ‘the Rolls Royce of massage’ that’s best known for the deeply relaxing long strokes that sweep the body from tip to toe, over and under, massaging two areas simultaneously and fully engaging the senses so that stress evaporates. As well as being deeply healing, this massage style can also be a divine or transcendental experience.

While Lomi Lomi or Kahuna style massage is thought of as having its roots in Hawaii and other Pacific Islands, it’s actual beginnings were likely bought from India as Hindu’s have been sailing the Pacific for thousands of years. This massage has many modern counterparts; in the

Consciousness and DNA

You have the power to change your nature

In all the holy books of the world it is said that even the most despicable characters should they transform themselves progress to heaven and should the sick transform themselves, they will become well.

It has long been known but not very well discussed or understood that our DNA is malleable. This course is key to adaptation to new environments and not peculiar only to humans, but all life. A simple example is that children who ride horses, their pelvis will grow a little differently to those who never ride horses.

In a recent TV program (though the wormhole), Morgan Freeman and his experts were saying that DNA changes over time and

The Gotra System

The first knowledge of genetics

India is a country that has been largely dismissed by historians and in fact Indian history was rewritten by the British only a few hundred years ago. They never took into account any of India’s true history, however the real history of India is slowly merging to show a culture far more advanced than any European culture stretching back for many thousands of years.

It is from India that we received the decimal system of numbers and Indian scientists had a knowledge of our place in the universe unmatched in Europe until the 20th century. Western scientists scoff at the idea that the Indians knew anything, however the facts of history are now making
