Towards an Ethical Way of Life

Most of us have heard the term karma, a Sanskrit word (कर्म) implying the interlinking of cause and effect. Karma signifies a moral caution and a stimulus to become responsible in life because when we cause harm to others by accident or even design, consequences will come back to us at some point.
The Dhammapada is one of the most sacred and best-loved of Buddhist texts. It points out the method of self-realization, by the way of moral conduct:
Like garlands woven from a heap of flowers, Fashion from your life as many good deeds.
The text further enlightens on the nature of the karmic fruit:
For while the

When economies fall, women sell their bodies for cash
The development of the modern economy began thousands of years ago which gave rise to slavery and prostitution as we came to know it. With the development of agriculture men developed unhealthy desires for the fruit of labour and the joy of pleasure without earning it themselves.
They rated neighbouring lands bringing it back strong men to do the physical work and women for sex. Over these thousands of years, little has changed only the methodology governing the acquisition and control of slaves for any purpose has modernised.
Traditionally in countries without social welfare, the poor have been disposed of or conscripted into another service as soldiers or comfort women. As

And crimes against our children
All to frequently we hear news stories of children being bludgeoned to death by their parents, forgotten and dying of heatstroke and exhaustion when locked in cars. We also hear of the paedophilia gangs and the owners of child porn websites being busted by law enforcement agencies.
In addition to the general utility and sex crimes committed against children, huge numbers are kidnapped and sold into slavery with the have no rights or freedoms. All around the world it’s estimated that every year, tens of millions of children suffer as a result of adult abuse and brutality.
Within Islam, paedophilia is legal and normalised, but the problem has increased in non-Islamic countries to the

Will we pay a price for our pleasure and conveniences?
In most families, children are taught and encouraged to do their share to help maintain families and communities. This is natural and they can take pride in their contribution. But in the situation that has become more prevalent in the modern world is that children are being forced into lives of hard labour to help maintain adults who should know better in lives of privilege.
This is one of the darker sides of capitalism where in the case of mining, minerals are taken/stolen from the earth and much of the labour is performed by children were often paid so little that they remain perpetually malnourished and are constantly abused.

Women have been counselled to become sex workers

The concept of a woman offering sex for money and other favours is generally thought of as the world’s oldest profession and as far as we know, there has never been a time in human history where this has not occurred.
Today in many countries despite the cries of some moralists, what many regard as prostitution has been legalised in many countries. Yet when we look at many marriages, they are often little more than agreements validating sex for money.
Yet moralists around the world even though they may be prostituting themselves condemn the activity of the women who make themselves available to men, but

Dealing with men and trying to find one that’ll do
Hi there, I’m sending you some of my insights and experiences because I enjoyed some of your posts and your readers might learn something. Anyhow, I guess I’m pretty much just an average girl from Lancashire, my parents tried to teach me manners and I gotta admit that they come in handy sometimes.
I’ve got no great expectations in life and like most people, I want to have fun and maybe a family one day. My sex life began when I was 13, I went to a party, the boys got me drunk and I ended up having sex with two of them. It wasn’t all that nice, but it

Many of the values of western civilisation come about through competition and perceived basic needs for survival which stand in the way of higher thinking and natural evolution. If we look back over history we can see how greed and desire have shaped the world.
As several hunter gatherers people had to stick to the facts because life depended on those facts, but today the world is awash in ideas and attractive physical stuff or glamour. People are competing to have others buy into their ideas and have people buy their stuff so much so that institutions have been established to buy and sell

The experience and feedback
Hi there, I won’t tell you my name but I’ve been married for five years and having decided to put off having kids until after I turned 30 we’d both been working hard to build our dream home. We hadn’t gone too far overboard in terms of debt but I’m sure this is one of the major factors that’s been causing strife in our relationship.
In those first few years of courtship and marriage we both had good paying jobs and a great deal of confidence, so we had sex often and everywhere, but it seemed like that was all too good to last because of been reduced to a part-time job and although Simon is

Acquiring the tools for living
In a more perfect world education would be about sharing and learning about life and all its processes, it would be about becoming a responsible human being in an intelligent civilisation. However as we are governed by ignorance and strength, learning has degraded into learning how to survive in a corrupted world.
Our modern education system is a corrupted version of an ancient Hindu system that taught children how to live in harmony with life which is why before the arrival of Islam and colonialism, it was the world’s most advanced civilisation that had no need to go to war and yet had some capacity to defend itself although there was probably no Hindu who

The foundation of capitalism
Deash are thought to have abducted over 25,000 women (including young girls) & forced them into sex slavery. Some have been ‘claimed’ by fighters while others have been sold in markets since 2012.
The fact of life that we overlook is that in order for the modern world to exist and even for it to have come into existence, there must have been and there must always be someone to do the hard work.
No one really knows when slavery began and there are various forms of slavery which may have arisen with the hunter who was injured and unable to continue the hunt who probably become someone’s servant. But slaves range from those people
