Steeped in old world charm and located in the heart of old Europe, the Czech Republic was once the centre of ancient civilization at the time when civilization consisted of tribes of hunter gatherers who came together for trade and social events. Today the Czech Republic trails modern Europe in economics, but it has a very rich cultural heritage.
