A land apart
Western Australia is one of the drier Australian states with warm to hot temperatures for most of the year. The dry heat of summer makes for pleasant change from the moisture laden air as is found in Queensland and the south east Asian countries. You can usually expect about 8 hours of sun each day which sets over the ocean.
Winters can be wet and the seasons follow a Southern Hemisphere climate with Summer between December and February and Winter June – August. Geographically Western Australia is almost totally flat with a few small hills.
