Philosophy
is any idea and ideas can be used to support dreams of any nature. Being of the
mind, philosophy is primarily physical in nature and is used to justify the best
and worst of human kinds behaviours.

developments in understanding.
Philosophy properly disciplined is a rational examination of ideas and relationships, of
the truths and principles of being, of knowledge and conduct. Yet as ideas and
beliefs are generally not established
truths, philosophy is something of a hair brained science yet a better
alternative to vain belief.
For example Christian philosophy is based on a belief in God, but God cannot be
proved and is therefore simply an idea or belief based on personal and unprovable personal internal experience. The experience of God in one's own
consciousness cannot be proved or disproved and truth like beauty is in the eye
of the beholder.
The philosophy surrounding proven scientific principals is easier to deal with.
We have clear proof of the existence of the physical elements like metal, yet if
we take aspects of our humanity such as our subtle senses like extra sensory
perception, there is doubt and confusion in many minds as to their existence or
purpose.
There are three main branches of philosophy; natural philosophy, moral
philosophy, and metaphysical philosophy.
Natural philosophy
With the origin of species, Darwinian theory prevails as an accepted truth
having replaced the idea that God created the universe in six days. Yet the
spanner in the works with this theory lies in what is known as forbidden
archaeology. This is the stuff found in the Earth that does not fit Darwinian
theory. Items include manufactured objects which have been found in accurately
dated geological strata which puts industrial mankind on Earth over 450 million
years ago. Beliefs are different from facts and beliefs override facts when it
comes to our education and beliefs.
Moral philosophy
Moral philosophy is highly confused and divided as mankind is inherently corrupt. This philosophy concludes that:
Might is right - for instance
The United States Administration believes it is right to impose its values on the world. Yet it is clear that it displays moral superiority by saying one thing and doing another.
Christianity holds that killing is a crime against the faith, yet Christians conduct most wars and kill more people than followers of any other faith.
Metaphysical philosophy
This to a large extent is speculation based on the reported experiences over many generations. It covers our perception, and the possibility of life in outer space.

based on Self Knowledge, and taking Steps to Peace based on the Truth as

Buddhism is a philosophy and not a religion as Buddha said "take my ideas
and test them, then if they work for you, take them as your own."

the fact that freedom is not an option for the the less educated.
At present our civilisation seems to be bent on destroying itself and most life
on our planet, and this destruction is based on greed and the lust for power
(both are drives toward the wrong concept of happiness) of individual needs. Yet
we exist as a community and without community we will cease to exist, in other
words, the human species is verging on extinction due to an out of control
selfishness.
Now we have the knowledge, the technology and tools for planetary
transformation. Some new inroads are being made, yet the mass of humanity is
bound by outdated beliefs.
How can we as a collective of individuals who's purpose is collective happiness
and enlightenment create a harmonious global environment and the literal 'heaven
on earth'?
Freedom and happiness are ideals we all strive for, but yet we all find
ourselves living in bondage and experiencing suffering to some degree. Holistic
philosophy seeks to clarify who we are and define a path to a life free of
suffering.
Freedom, or the ideas of being physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually
free are concepts with many interpretations within many philosophies and schools
of thought. But really; can we ever be truly free?
We are of course bound by the limitations of our human body and it's need for
food and shelter which require our regular effort and in this sense we are bound
to our human existence.
Human co-existence has been shaped over the millennia into the civilisation of
today, in which we are not only bound by our physicality, but we are also bound
by our desires, attachments and civilisation itself.
Our right to exist and the way that we exist is bound by social, political and
corporate rules and regulations as well as mental programming, philosophical and
religious idealism. So we are bound by our basic survival needs and the
restrictions of our civilisation.
Life for every human on this planet involves suffering to some degree and we
suffer because human nature and the world we live in is far from perfect. The
actual amount of pain and suffering we experience during our lifetime is often
by the accident/time/place/situation of our birth.
Many call the accident of our birth fate, fortune or Karma and while individuals
often seem to have little choice but to endure what life has served them, others
see life as an opportunity to overcome suffering and to find true joy or
happiness.
We experience physical suffering in the form of pain, sickness, injury,
tiredness, old age, and eventually death, and we also have to endure the
psychological sufferings of sadness, repression, loss, fear, frustration,
disappointment, and depression.
If you are wondering why philosophy and religion feature in a holistic bodywork
manual, it is because the population is bound by the lies of the past which lies
at the root of all diseases, and while it's to late for the truth to set many
people free, it may help in providing an honest framework that may inspire
future generations to avoid the mistakes within our current civilisation.
Religions, philosophies and political systems teach or promise an end to or a
lessening suffering, yet in this day and age suffering seems to be increasing
for the great majority of not only human, but all life on earth.
We are born naked and clothed in confusion before being controlled and
manipulated our entire life. The healing arts of yoga and meditation combined
with the wisdom of the masters help us to see the illusion we live and if the
desire is there, become self determined and self responsible beings.
When we ask:
What is real, what is right and wrong, what is the right way to live, who are we
and who am I?
These commonly asked questions produce volumes of answers, but the truth of
these questions is that:
I Exist and therefore I Am
I exist in relationship with my world and environment.
Everything else is arbitrary including civilization itself.
