A knower and exponent of life, Jaggi Vasudev is more popularly known as Sadhguru. He is an Indian gentleman from South India, a Yogi, mystic, Padma Vibhushan awardee, and New York Times bestselling author with a following of many millions of spiritual seekers.
He founded the Isha Foundation, a non-profit organization which offers yoga programs around the world, including India, the United States, the United Kingdom, Lebanon, Singapore, Canada, Malaysia, Uganda, China, Nepal, and Australia.
The Foundation is also involved in various social and community development activities, which have resulted in the Foundation being granted special consultative status with the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations.
A simple man
Saying that he is a simple man means that he is normal man who understands what it is to be human and this is also what compels him to share his joy and wisdom. The majority of the world's population is trapped in slavery and ignorance which causes perpetual suffering.
