When “No” Means “Yes”

The most infamous contradiction

We live in an age of confusion where very few people know their own minds or even have control over their desires. The majority are locked into compulsive behaviours and unable to be truly responsible.

All human beings have an underlying desire to perpetuate our species through the passing on of genetic material. We have evolved the system of marriage as a way to do that which ensures that children have some stability in their lives and every young man and young women has an inherent desire for intimate connection with another human being.

Unfortunately human desires and human sexuality have been been hijacked by capitalism into a great deal of confusion in the population.

Jody's Wisdom

Part onepart twopart three

Jody spent a year treading the rivers of indifference and cold streets of pride in California. She spoke a deep and ancient truth that was applauded by those who were sufficiently enlightened, but her key message was like that of the Buddha, that people always had a choice.

Despite the corruption of civilisation and that most people endured a lifetime of suffering, it was eminently possible to step out of that suffering. She continued to advise people that they could either wallow in their suffering and be grateful for moments of pleasure or they could be

Does no mean yes?

There is an old saying: If a lady says “no”, she means “maybe”. If lady says “maybe”, she means “yes”. If a lady says “yes”, she is no lady.

The book ‘The Cultural Scaffolding of Rape‘ investigates the phenomenon of women’s token resistance to sex (i.e. saying no when they meant yes). Based on the study ‘The Prevalence and Correlates of Women’s Token Resistance to Sex’ by Charlene L. Muehlenhard and Lisa C. Hollabaugh and first published in the Journal of Personality and Social Psychology (1988)

They found that 39.3% of the undergraduates they had surveyed had said no when they meant yes, and this was for 3 types of reasons: practical, inhibition-related, and manipulative

A young girl’s story of being kidnapped (R)

Thousands of girls disappear every year

Nina was walking home, having enjoyed her day at school and she felt delighted with her school companions and the warm sunny afternoon. When they came to her street, she said goodbye to her friends and thoughtfully turned her mind back to the school lesson of the day as she walked the 200 m to her house unaware of the two men behind her until she was grabbed.

Her world went dark, she was bundled into a vehicle, her mouth, hands and feet bound with tape so she couldn’t move, and her head covered with some rough and scratchy cloth which at the moment was

A factor in all relationships

It’s one of those social things where there is no clear answer, if we look back through history, the ruling elite have always had sex on the side in addition to their primary relationships. With the arrival of the Industrial Revolution, the ruling classes had sex with whoever they wanted while the middle-class men preferred prostitutes to having sex with their wives which often created more babies to feed.

The working poor, they clung to each other in desperation to survive and marriage became an economic and social unit whereas for the wealthy, marriage was a convenience. Across all classes of society today, there are a great many marriages of convenience and love may or

Love and excitement P 16

Continued from Pt 15Part one.

If you have read this story from the beginning, it all took place in the latter part of the George W Bush era. For the past few years, selling my body has simply been a job that I become almost indifferent to. The greater delight I had was in giving people full body massages and making them feel better within themselves.

For those of you who don’t know, the typical Escort client meeting is one where there’s usually some polite conversation which often leads into listening to the clients sad life stories and I almost take on the role of a counsellor. Then quite often, I give the poor guy

Infidelity 2

A girl learns about sex and relationships

Jamie was discouraged from having boyfriends, her parents said education was more important as boyfriends couldn’t be relied on as providers. She was obedient even though being around some of the more handsome boys made her confused and wet with desire. After school she frequently masturbated and her dreams of strong handsome lovers interfered with study no matter how hard she tried to shut them out.

She had vague recollections of her parents having sex when she was little, but when she started junior school, they became more discrete. She retained her curiosity and a desire to be in touch with their love making so some nights she would peep from the doorway

A masseuses distress

Everyone knew Harry, he’s kind of a friend of the family, going on 50 but acts like a 10 year old half the time. He knows lots of jokes and Mum said he could charm the pants of anyone which was a remark that had passed by me unnoticed. Now this is the story Themla, one of my 2nd cousins told me.

She massages in Carindale, and Harry and our family often went up there for holidays. Anyhow Thelma is a size 14 with huge tits and some say a small brain, she often got teased and sometimes we felt sorry for her, but she was usually nice to everyone and took being teased in good spirits,

On the road

The story of a runaway

Aged 13, I’d just run away from home. I climbed up on the highway and stuck out my thumb, the second car that went by pulled over and I nervously got in beside the guy who turned out to be a travelling salesman. He was only going as far as the next town and I told him that I was going to the next town beyond that. He was quite nice and after he’d dropped me off, I had a long walk to the edge of town.

My next ride was with a truckie, he was going all the way up to Chicago whereas I had a mind to head for California coz I had

Father Paul

Celibacy; a modern problem

Paul was intelligent and he did well at school. During his early teens he took an interest in sports, his athleticism was good and when it came time to choose, he chose basketball instead of football.

He was developing into a nice looking young man and like most boys his age, he developed a natural curiosity about girls and sex. Although not religious, his parents were typical Presbyterian, they worked hard and rationed their pleasure.

His elder sister was his best friend until she began dating. Although he didn’t like to admit it, he was jealous and the thought of her being touched by those boys she went out with revolted him. His younger sister was
