Since Siddhartha’s Journey to The East, seekers of truth have traveled India. In the 1960’s hippies called India home hanging out in this tropical paradise. Today the hippy hangouts have become fashionable and affordable holiday resorts with services and amenities to rival any in the English speaking world. For the modern visitor, India may be a place of learning, or a fantastic and affordable holiday destination.

Delhi

India’s Capital

Akshardham or Swaminarayan Akshardham complex is a Hindu mandir, and a spiritual-cultural campus. Also referred to as Delhi Akshardham or Swaminarayan Akshardham, the complex displays millennia of traditional Hindu and Indian culture, spirituality, and architecture.

Order within chaos is one way of looking at India’s bustling capital, though to many observers the order remains hidden as order hides throughout much of this exotic land.

Delhi is also known as the National Capital Territory of India and the capital city of India. The city has undergone so much urban expansion in Delhi that it has incorporated towns in neighbouring states and at its largest extent can count a population of about 25 million residents as of 2014.
