Tracing our evolution

Entering the modern era

About this time, ice sheets as much as two miles deep are thought to have covered much of the northern hemisphere and a dramatic climate change is about to take place.

There are people on all continents, in Europe the population extending across Doggerland and perhaps parts of what we would recognise as today’s United Kingdom and Western Europe are hunter gatherers. They are dark skinned and little is known of their evolution: they are mixing with Neanderthal and peoples migrating from the East where life was more evolved.

The ‘out of Africa theory’ has been disproved, there may have been some small amount of migration from Africa

Capitalism

A cancer corrupting Humanity

Most people see capitalism is a good thing and nestled within democracy that we mask ask if this is actually a good thing for us and is it really contained within democracy?

Perhaps we should first ask what is capitalism? Capital begins with some form of asset in other words if you create an idea, you can share that idea by giving it away without expectation of reward or you can attach a reward value. But capitalism begins when you attach value to the idea or thing that you have created and can persuade someone to pay your price.

Intellectual Property

An evolutionary story

A Tumblr image

Today intellectual property has become a big business and around the world every year, billions of dollars are spent and sometimes wasted in the protection of what are essentially ideas and arrangements of words or molecules. So when we think about defining intellectual property we immediately come up against some problems such as originality as opposed to a modification of a thing or an idea.

People generally equate intellectual property with original ideas and inventions but if we step back and look at the world, once intellectual property enters the public domain it becomes public property and people are free to use or modify it at will.

History on its Head

The DNA trail in its true light

Beauty and Intelligence – South India

For many people the out of Africa theory as regards to human evolution has been accepted as an irrefutable fact, yet much of the actual evidence in the story has been buried because the archaeological and scientific communities doing the research operate as personality cults. It takes a great deal of courage to correct one’s Professor or the words on the page of some eminent writer.

Yet Dr. P. Priyadarshi has done this and in the video below which sadly is not of the best quality takes apart human migration theory based on DNA evidence and then he matches corresponding migrations of horses, cattle, mice and

Dying

An ancient wisdom

The Masnavi is a poetic collection of anecdotes and everyday tales from Persia, a region strongly influenced by Vedanta and this verse outlines evolution before the arrival of Islam.

I died from the mineral and became a plant I Died from the plant and re-appeared as an animal I died from the animal and became a man.

Wherefore should I fear? When did I grow less by dying?

Next time, I shall die from the man That I may grow the wings of an angel From the angel to Must I advance

All things perish save his face Once more shall I wing my way above the angels I shall become that which entereth not the imagination.
