Conversion Kills

A time to outlaw this practise

Since time immemorial perhaps since people were able to convey ideas to each other through the use of words or gestures, there has been a desire to convince others that one’s original idea is right and should be followed. It may have been as simple as we will find better hunting by going this way.

Over time some ideas proved worthy and some individuals became more authoritative because their ideas were proven. Then people listened and took note, those with the best ideas became leaders which was all very well in matters to do with basic survival. But in the realm of more intangible knowledge like defining God, there can be no collective

Redefining Law

Ideas to save our world

Some of us take time out to reflect on who we are but most are so firmly bound to the wheel of samsara, the illusion of life by their karma that they do not take time or even have time to reflect. This was probably also the case in the most ancient of times when all effort went into survival with momentary time out for recreation and pleasure.

The earliest known laws are encoded within the Rig Veda then further expanded and refined by Manu, the first known lawgiver who is thought to have lived somewhere between 5000 and 3000 BC. “The Law Code of Manu, has more than 2500 laws, although about 1000

A New Paradigm in Law

An ancient rational to be revived

From part one

In part one I have given an overview of how the law has been corrupted to serve the rich and powerful at the expense of not only the people but of continued human existence and life on earth therefore a new paradigm in law is way overdue. I don’t expect these ideas will be a more successful than attempts to save the Amazon rainforest or the Great Barrier Reef yet these ideas must be expressed and perhaps at some point before we go extinct some of the rich and powerful may find their social consciences awakening to the reality that is looking them in the face.

The ultimate prize in

The Question of Truth

And that truth will set you free

As children growing up we are taught to speak the truth as we see it, yet we learn to see that truth is often a matter of perspective and in some situations where a number of people have witnessed the same event, their telling is different because they all saw from a different perspective, a major problem when the law is involved. So what is referred to as the truth today is a convenient concept that most of us can agree upon.

This most of us has come to distinguish between various truths in relation to what we choose to believe this. The Christians believe that there heavenly guard is real even though

Lauren Southern

Why the fuss and is there justice?

Lauren Southern by all accounts is a Canadian woman with a voice, and she has gained a degree of traction in the sociopolitical sphere to the point where authorities are suddenly concerned about her. Her views are upsetting people yet those people are the namby-pamby who may be called neoliberals, who implicitly believe that multiculturalism works and the world has nothing to fear from Islam, a belief that is incredulous if you know anything of Islamic history.

Perhaps they don’t teach very much about this in schools and what they do teach is somehow glorified to give it a sense of normality although you wouldn’t want it to happen to you. The

Thinking about Democracy

A noble sentiment that has failed

Most of us were taught in school that democracy was a Greek idea adopted by the civilised world but is this really true? To understand the principle of democracy we need to step back to the first hunter gatherer humanoids to walk the planet, but it’s helpful to begin looking at animal groups.

Within the species that hunt and feed off other animals, they tend to be more solitary although they do congregate more closely when food is abundant. In the instance of lions, their society is matriarchal although while they are ruled over by a male, is typically the oldest female that makes the most important decisions and the rest of the pride

The Marriage of Children

A crime against humanity

Marriage is a global institution and if we step back into history there was a natural pairing off mostly between young men and women as they reached a balance of physical and mental maturity that enabled them to live happily and raise a family.

It is probable that there has always been some deviant or criminal behaviour within tribal groups but more so in the field of conquest. But the majority of the world’s population who had achieved a sense of balance and purpose in life would instinctively know when the time for marriage was right and this time was defined as when the girl is capable of bearing children and caring for them.

Villains

Dedicated to those who undermine humanity

As opposed to our heroes who work for the goodness of mankind, villains undermine everything it is to be human. They are some of the world’s movers and shakers, munitions manufacturers and the corporations who seek to dominate the world.

There is a great deal of conjecture about what makes a person a good person or a bad person, but from a spiritual perspective the people who profit at the expense of life are suffering from their own delusions. But this is not so much about morality because everyone in a way creates their own sense of morality for or philosophy to justify their actions below deemed good or bad by
