Tell it the way it is

Periodically in the media this week, discussions about sex education for children re-emerge. Those who consider themselves enlightened want to tell kids the facts of life as they really are while the moral opposition wants kids to remain forever in ignorance until that time comes when they fumble in the dark and are left suffering various forms of anxiety.

In terms of statistics, these prove that children who are well educated about sex are more likely to put off sex until they are older and practice safe sex, they are also much less likely to get pregnant so it seems really strange that the moralists want to raise their kids in ignorance and expose

The controversial yogi

Osho was born 11 December 1931 and departed this life 19 January 1990

Born Chandra Mohan Jain, and like a chameleon, Osho was known as Acharya Rajneesh during the 1960s, as Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh during the 1970s and 1980s and as Osho from 1989. Over his lifetime, he became an Indian mystic and spiritual teacher (guru) with a large international following.

As a professor of philosophy, he travelled throughout India in the 1960s as a public speaker and his outspoken criticism of socialism, Mahatma Gandhi and institutionalised religions which made him controversial. He also advocated a more open attitude towards sexuality: a stance that earned him the sobriquet “sex guru” in the Indian and later international press.

Osho on Corruption

Corruption is an inevitability in this social structure of ours

One friend has asked, “There is so much corruption, so much bribery, so much favoritism going on in the present capitalism! Do you support this as well? This bribery, this corruption, this favoritism is not because of capitalism. Its causes are entirely different. They have nothing to do with capitalism.

If a country where there is so much poverty can be without corruption, that will be a miracle. That is not possible. Honest people in a place where it is so difficult to survive is a difficult proposition. Yes, a rare honest individual may exist. Some man of real will may exist. But all don’t have that much will power
