Why Hate?

A failure to become human

Someone sent me a quote, that is what sender was taught; that I enclose [I became so religious so that I could pray for you to burn in hell] and write him my reply :
Hate is a weak emotion that shows that hater is a failure and will not succeed as a good human. Hating others even if your religion teaches you is a negative emotion that can erode your soul. Do you know there are large number of people who without knowing, are hating via their "praying that certain people" get hurt" daily.

They say that don't hate what you don't really understand and yet people hate others for their natural way of life.

Hating without knowing is a major sin but foolish people engaging in hating people, communities for their faith or origin THINK that they are being religious by engaging in hatred and will be rewarded. Nobody gets rewarded for hating anyone. If you are being preached to hate anyone, community, other religion, country or race you are being misguided and abused.

"Hatred stems from fear, the fear of being different or that anyone else may enjoy some fortune you do not. Fear is the basis of modern religion, fear God, fear anyone who is different and does not believe the same as you do. Fear is all about belief and dressing up your insecurities then stating that only those who subscribe to your belief have a valid right to exist." ~ NZYogi

Bibllical texts say: "Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who abuse you.."

Great Tamill Saint Valluvar said it extremely eloquently:
Valluvar said, “The evil of hatred is the grief of griefs. If it is rooted out, you can enjoy the joy of joys. Nip in the bud the feeling of hostility and you prosper well. For one is fast ruined by fomenting hatred."
"Out of hatred arise all evils; the smile of good will usher in peace and prosperity."
Valluvar also represented entire Hindu Philosophy in just one line when he said:
"The best punishment for those who do evil to you, is to shame them by returning good for evil"

Lord Krishna’s words in Gita cleared that NO ONE is our enemy but own OWN self [Spirit entity]: “Let a man lift himself by himself; let him not degrade himself; for the Self alone is the friend of the self and the Self alone is the enemy of the self.

The ancient Vedantic literature has extremely beautiful knowledge to know our own selves. The Upanishadas say :
"He who sees all beings in his Self and his Self in all beings, he never suffers; because when he sees all creatures within his true Self, then jealousy, grief and hatred vanish.”

The ancient wisdom of Upanishadas say :
"He who sees all beings in his Self and his Self in all beings, he never suffers; because when he sees all creatures within his true Self, then jealousy, grief and hatred vanish.”
