Health and Becoming Healthy

Knowing and achieving our natural state to enable success

Health is togetherness

This is the story about what ails us, what makes us well and describes what health really is. To know health, we have to know about illness yet strive not so much to be healthy but to live in a manner that is healthy by creating the conditions for health and happiness for all.

Ill health is caused by a lack of education, a lack of knowledge, a lack of access to adequate food, water and shelter perpetrated by another level of ignorance and greed resulting from self centredness and belief. In other words, illness for the most part is caused by our fellow humans who

Yoga Asana Series

The technology of being human

The word Yoga means ‘the perfected state of universal oneness or spiritual completion’ but it’s also used to describe the activities, the exercises leading to that state.

Beginning with the physical, the first aspect of yoga is asana comprising all the physical exercises. These exercises condition the body creating freedom of movement, improved muscle tone and overall balance within one’s physical structure.

Yoga asana are designed to exercise every muscle in the body so that the muscles are contracted, twisted, squeezed and relaxed to push out toxins and then the muscles are relaxed. By twisting the torso, the internal organs are also gently affected so that the circulation of energy and

Posture and Health

Is your posture killing you?

One is sometimes compelled to ask, what do we really know about ourselves, and in particular our bodies? Science has made a great many studies and come to a number of conclusions but are these conclusions correct?

Science and medicine in many ways constitutes an educated guess-work and when what some treatment works for a majority without actually causing apparent harm to most users or trailists, it becomes medicine. In many ways our ancestors had a better understanding of what was to be human in regard to our physical posture.

One of the recent contradictions in modern science has come from the x-rayed spines of so-called primitive or tribal people who live without the

Illness as a spiritual emergency

I was recently sitting by the bed of a very ill patient who had suffered a major stroke wondering why? Why is it that such a good life ends in such unfair and unimaginable suffering?

The idea dawned on me that perhaps there is some residual suffering that is self inflicted. Just think, today the body fails and the personality becomes angry, disappointed, disillusioned and blames their body, blames God and existence for their pain and this happens in every generation.

Life can be very painful with injuries and illness to body and mind, so if it is correct as Buddhist and Hindus claim that reincarnation is a fact of our human existence, then perhaps

Women's Health

Empowerment in degenerate times

Women are tasked with not only bringing new life into the world, they also tasked with supporting life which is why after the often dangerous process of pregnancy and childbirth, they get to spend long hours nursing, preparing food and maintaining a warm and safe environment for children and spouses.

Inasmuch as the civilisation and the society we live in is probably corrupted making life a struggle, the foundations for life are unchanged. Everyone needs a stable and nurturing environment in which to grow and prosper, and this is her task in addition to the often called upon need to participate in earning money just to survive.

The routine of menstruation often helps women to remain

Breast Health and Concerns

Some of the problems women experience with their breasts.

If you would like to share your photos, concerns, or success stories, please get in touch

As with the rest of the body, breasts are susceptible to changes and health problems. Therefore every woman needs to know about her breasts so as to be able to appreciate how they change and to know when to get advice.

Common problems include:

Fibrocystic breast changes are the most common, these include lumpiness, thickening and swelling which often occurs in the days before her period. Cysts; these are fluid-filled lumps which may come and go, but need to be monitored for changes. Fibroadenomas feel like solid, round, rubbery lumps that move

Yoga Benefits Health

The world’s most ancient science

Yes, Yoga is the world’s oldest science with a history dating back at least 15,000 years. In the Christianised Western culture, people may think this is impossible, but through the discoveries of archaeology and the translation of ancient texts, this is completely verified.

As a science, yoga does not set out to define or capitalise on anything, rather it is a step-by-step process, a system of self-study and evaluation through which health and vitality grows.

Although yoga developed in India, its practices are common to all people regardless of skin colour or gender. As the world opened up during the 19th century, seekers of truth began travelling to India and India yogis began travelling to

A Chronology of Hindu History

Re-Writing the narrative from emerging discoveries

Please note that due to recent changes with wordpress and due to financial constraints, this site is no longer being updated and will close in 2021. An updated page on the Chronology of Hindu History can be found here.

Like many people seeking to know the truth of our existence, I have questioned the historic narrative handed down to us through various governmental agencies. Finding this narrative to be heavily tainted by political expediency, personal bias, religious and other belief systems, I set out to explore and have discovered the rationality behind Sanatana Dharma.

The Western, patriarchal capitalist point of view backed by the irrational idea of moral authority dominates today’s world in

Why Hinduism?

The world’s oldest surviving way of life!

Hinduism as it is called is not a belief system but a science of living. Having stood the test of time over many thousands of years having outlived all civilisations, it continues to grow, flourish and evolve.

The word Hinduism correctly stated is Sanatana Dharma meaning the ‘Eternal Way’ or the scientific method by which humanity may survive and thrive into eternity. In contrast our experts are saying that humanity is on the verge of extinction because we choose to act on beliefs instead of knowledge.

That Hinduism is referred to as a religion and Hindu’s as followers of Hinduism is a convenience of language and cultural understanding. Here are some reasons why

The Culture of Rape

An epidemic of ignorance

Rape has always existed throughout human evolution as a short term expression of fulfilling desires but as we take life to live, you could say it is part of our character?

In primitive tribal societies where there existed a healthy fear of inbreeding, young men would go out and capture themselves a wife from a neighbouring tribe. This was accepted as a way of maintaining genetic diversity and women were always traded to cement political or economic agreements between tribes and kingdoms.

In times of war it has been customary for conquering troops to rape the women in addition to the general looting and destruction but let’s not forget the millions of men and women
